I would just like to say what a brilliant job we had done having our fireplace fitted. It was absolutely excellent, 1st class job done by Vic and Ryan.

Hi I just would like to say that I’ve just had a complete central heating system installed by your people. I cannot praise them enough, Eric, Zac, Will and Bob who were all here. I dreaded it being done but its been great. In this day and age its rare to have proper tradesmen they were polite and courteous and most accommodating. It’s lovely to see young fellas learning a trade and Zac is obviously taking everything on board and learning from Eric. You all have good reason to be very proud.

Good evening, I just wanted to thank you for your assistance today when I found myself without water due to a tap problem. I cannot fault the service you provided. I rang at 10.45, spoke to a representative, explained my problem and she promised to speak with a manager and have him get back to me shortly.
Within ten minutes I had been called back, promised that I was a priority case and that every effort would be made to get my tap fixed and water on today.
At 1.30 the manager rang me to inform me the engineer was on his way.
At 1.45 the engineer arrived. He was polite, engaging and clearly knew exactly what to do. He was terrific. He identified the problem, sorted the repair and then identified an associated problem which he also fixed.
This was a tremendous service, I cannot recommend the gas shop and your staff highly enough. Each person I dealt with was polite, positive, honest and knowledgeable.
To go from calamity to solution in three hours was fantastic and all for the reasonable call out price of £90. Excellent value.

We wanted to say thank you to you, Vic and Bob for the flexibility and speed with which the rearranged installation was completed.
Vic and Bob are a credit to your business, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, we’re really pleased with their work.

I don’t give shout outs often enough for local businesses but I have to mention The Gas Shop on Orwell Road. My boiler packed up late last night, taking the lights with it. After a cold shower this morning, I called them and even on a weekend they attended, diagnosed, obtained the parts and fixed the boiler within two hours of my call. Exceptional service!

Big shout out to the guys at The Gas Shop. We woke this morning on a snowy day to a cold house, the boiler failed to fire. The Gas Shop visited, diagnosed the problem (fried circuit board), went back to the shop collected the parts required, returned and had the heating on in under two and a half hours. I am writing to thank ‘The Gas Shop’ for sorting out a number of plumbing issues in my home. Eric is knowledgeable and gifted in his trade. A new boiler along with numerous thermostatic radiator valves was fitted in three and a half days with minimal disruption. We had very friendly, helpful engineers (Eric, Ryan and Bob) who took every care to replace carpets, furniture and clean up. Aside from the new boiler and valves you wouldn’t know they’d been. Prior to this they’d made every effort to maintain the old boiler of 30+ years with regular servicing.

We only needed a boiler service, the Gas Shop were really helpful and squeezed us in at short notice. The engineer (Steve) who came to service the boiler was friendly and polite. The bill for servicing was comparable to others around. Will be using again and pleased we have found a reliable gas company for any future works.

Last Friday evening our central heating boiler stopped working, leaving us with no heating or hot water. I switched on the immersion heater, unused for years, and it tripped the earth leakage cct breaker. I rang on Sat morning expecting to be told that the earliest visit would be Monday. However, an engineer came that morning and diagnosed the fan as faulty. He said he thought there was one at the shop. There was and he fitted it that afternoon. What service! He was polite, friendly and very helpful. I shall be telling people how pleased I am.

When you are both almost 80 and the gas boiler fails in mid-winter, it is very upsetting to say the least. Had an entire heating system replaced. The boiler was perfectly sited, beautifully piped up (how can a collection of copper pipes look like art?), and has worked flawlessly since. Had a fault with the boiler, they came out next day (it wasn’t an emergency) debugged and got the manufacturer to replace a part under warranty.

Engineer came out within 2 – 3 hours of me calling them. Replaced taps job done. What a polite person, he explained everything to me. Excellent service. Thank you so much.

Had loud banging from our boiler at 7.30am called them up 10 mins later. Central heating pump replaced and all finished by 10am – great service and friendly engineer.
